This Week in Yoga: Crown Chakra!

In our 7th week in the chakra series, we focus on Sahasrara, the Crown Chakra. This week’s class will flow though various asana that help to bring awareness to the most important aspects of sirsansa (headstand) and padasana (lotus).

Get out of, and possibly onto, your head.

This Week In Yoga: Anja Chakra ~ Calming that Darn Mind

This weeks flow will focus on the mediative aspects of yoga. We will begin with a strong flow to burn up some of those vrittis (distractions) you bring to class, then entering into a slower, steady breath and movement flow.

This Week in Yoga: Anahata Chakra ~ Opening the Heart!!

This week we will flow to open the heart, strengthen the immune system, and inhale and exhale the mindfullness of love.

Fluid movements and deep breaths help us to tap into the element of Air, associated with the heart chakra.
