This Week in Yoga: Enjoying the Journey!

This week the flow is builds from small movements into more challenging ones. Staying within the moment of the flow, not looking ahead or behind.

Next class: Friday at 11am!!  122 State Street, Suite 300.

This week in yoga: Tapas!!

Unfortunately, (to paraphrase my teacher David Lurey), in yoga, Tapas does not refer to delicious Spanish snacks, rather it means quite the opposite: Discipline.

This week’s flow will focus on the discipline to stay in a pose longer, to use breath to sustain through the desire to move out of asana before it is time. Thus taking this ability to maintain and transform into our daily lives.

We will practice plenty of movement in this ‘slow flow,’ while lingering a little while longer in many asana.

Wednesday: 5:30pm @ 849 East Washington Avenue.

Friday: 11am @ 122 State Street, Suite 300.

This Week in Yoga: Ganesha Power!!

This week’s theme focuses on clearing away obstacles in our lives!!

Using inspiration from the Hindu god Ganesha, who is known for placing and removing obstacles.

We will use core strength to help channel this energy on our asana.

Wednesday: 5:30pm @ 849 East Washington Avenue

Friday: 11:00am @ 122 State Street, Suite 300
